Recommissioned out of a long ownership collection. Restoration completed 15 years ago. Only 444 were built in 1957 and only 98 were built with factory optional AC. At the time, the AC option cost an additional $595 which is equal to $6,682.00 today.<br /><br />1957 being the final year out of the 2 year run. Had a price tag of over $10k, these were the most expensive cars built in the US at that time, competing with the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud and Bentley Continental.<br /><br />Vehicle comes with very rare Continental Mark II brochure used by the Continental Division of the Ford Motor Company, titled “The Continental Story”, it tells of the development and engineering behind the Mark II.<br /><br />In January of this year, a 1957 Mark II sold at auction for $440,000<br /><br />Hagerty’s price valuation on for this car in excellent condition if $88,900 and add 10% for factory AC totaling $97,790
