This beloved generation of R1 features the 'Big Bang' motor, a MotoGP derived unit that produces a remarkable growling engine note that pulses through the under tail exhausts. The bike also had pre selectable riding modes added to the existing YCC-T fly-by-wire throttle system: Standard, A (most powerful), and B.
This gloss black on black R1 was brought to us by a local rider in all original configuration with only seven thousand miles on it.

This bike has been through our service department and passed an 89 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our techs also mounted and balanced a new set of tires and resolved the open recalls.
